Tom Hanks has given the thumbs down on a "Forrest Gump" sequel.
Although movies bosses did meet to discuss the possibly, talks lasted about 40 minutes as there really wasn't any point. Tom said he would only make a return to the character if the storyline was strong enough and didn't want to make a sequel for the sake of making a sequel.
He left Forrest behind in 1994.
