We were all very sad at the sudden passing of Coolio but this piece of television pulled from the archives has got to be RTE's finest TV moment.
So Coolio was accidentally booked on for a performance on RTE's "Open House" hosted by Marty Whelan and Mary Kennedy. It was the 2002 version of "Live at Three" so aimed at retired people watching telly in the afternoon.
They hadn't arranged backing dancers and so he made the middle-aged producers of the show step in! Amazing telly.
