Channel 4's courtroom drama on Wagatha Christie trial

Channel 4 are making a courtroom drama about the Wagatha Christie trial.

Michael Sheen will play David Sherborne, the lawyer who represented Coleen Rooney. Simon Coury will play Rebekah Vardy's lawyer Hugh Tomlinson KC. Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama, will air later on this year with the BAFTA winning actress Chanel Cresswell playing Coleen Rooney and Natalia Tena playing Rebekah Vardy.

Director Oonagh Kearney said "the trial utterly captivated the public with the daily jaw-dropping reveals".
