Gary Lineker says James Cordon not taking his job

Gary Lineker has denied rumours that James Corden is set to replace him as the host of "Match of the Day".

James Corden announced last week how this will be his last season of "The Late Late Show" in the United States as he wants to spend more time in the UK with family and friends.

Gary Lineker, who has presented the sports show for 23 years, said a number of people texted him saying they heard Corden was taking over.  He responded by tweeting "I'm afraid I still have 3 years to run on my contract so you're stuck with me for a while".
