Adele's estranged father dies age 57

Adele's estranged father has passed away of cancer at the young age of 57. They had a bitter falling out in 2011 when he spoke to the media saying she struggled to find love and had abandonment issues.

Mark Evans left when Adele was just 3 years old and became an alcoholic.  He spoke about how he would drink 2 litres of vodka and 8 or 9 pints of beer every single day. 

Having previously worked as a plumber, in more recent times he was earning £50 a day as a delivery driver and renting a small house in South Wales.  Last year he admitted he'd been a rotten father and wanted his daughter back.  

Although they hadn't managed to resolve their differences, Adele is said to be upset by the loss..
